AI has become my superpower TA
My title on LinkedIn is "Author and Strategic Advisor", and much of my work is around authoring content: whether books, training, speeches, or blogs. Creating training is one of my key passions, as I love finding ways t...

"AI for TPRM Professionals" is a 4-hour certificate course based on my latest book, "AI and Third Party Risk" (because Apress allows me, as the author, to reuse my own material). The course provides an overview of AI and TPRM, then dives into AI risks, frameworks, and a regulatory overview. The last two hours of the course are designed as a hands-on workshop for this course. We take a fictitious company, OpusNox, which produces an HR SaaS product with embedded AI and is selling to you, and we walk through due diligence and due care from pre-contract through disengagement, including contract clauses and continuous monitoring. To make this workshop as effective as possible, it is important to have artifacts and documentation that are as 'real' as possible to what happens in normal TPRM.
Normally, this would rely on my limited ability to create these fake documents, and it would take me hours or days. I would never be entirely happy with them because of those limited abilities. However, when I fed the training I created in PowerPoint, the workshop instructions, and the data into AI, I was amazed at both the quality and speed. With very little extra prompting and in a very short time, I was able to create artifacts, process documents, and more to make the workshops feel as authentic as possible. The speed is impressive, but the documentation and authenticity of the work allow me, as an instructor, to give the student a much more realistic experience. This will yield huge dividends for the absorption of material and the overall enjoyment of the course.
There will be other ways to leverage AI in my work, but I am extremely happy with the outcomes it provides for my future students and me.
