Enroll before Jan 1, 2027 and complete CATRP on two courses. From Jan 1, 2027 the credential adds a third track, the BEACON™ Vendor AI Risk Class (assess). Anyone who enrolls before then completes on today’s requirements: Security Agent Mesh, AI for TPRM, the ethics attestation and the application. No BEACON class needed.

How it is earned

Four requirements

01

Security Agent Mesh Masterclass

The build track. Building a four-agent autonomous defense architecture to neutralise zero-day vulnerabilities in real time.

Dates →

02

AI for TPRM Professionals

The govern track. Bridging emerging AI technologies and third-party risk management practice.

Dates →

03

Ethics attestation

Thirty questions on professional ethics, privacy, AI conduct and vendor obligations. Eighty percent to pass, retakeable, and taken online.

Take the attestation →

04

Verified application

An application reviewed and verified before the credential is issued.

Who it is for

People who both build and govern.

CATRP is deliberately dual-track. The people who can architect an agentic system and the people who can govern one are usually two different groups, and the gap between them is where AI risk actually sits. The credential asks you to do both.

TPRM analysts and leads

Extending an existing vendor-risk program to AI vendors and AI-enabled third parties.

Security and GRC professionals

Asked to assess AI tools without an AI-specific control set.

Consultants and auditors

Who need a defensible, repeatable method they can stand behind.

Price

$99, reduced from $199.

The credential fee covers the ethics attestation, application review and certificate issue. The two training tracks are booked separately — see the schedule.

Offer ends Dec 31, 2026.

Verification

Every certificate carries an ID.

Certificates are issued with a credential ID in the form TPTH-CATRP-YYYY-NNNN, the award date, and the contact hours and CPEs awarded printed on the face. Employers and clients can confirm a holder against the register in a few seconds, without an account and without telling us who is asking.

Is there an exam?
No. CATRP is earned by completing both flagship programs, passing the ethics attestation and submitting a verified application.
What is the difference between CATRP and AI for TPRM Professionals?
AI for TPRM Professionals is one course — the govern track. CATRP is the credential awarded when you have completed that and the Security Agent Mesh Masterclass, plus the attestation and application.
Do the two tracks have to be taken in order?
Either order. Take the build track or the govern track first, whichever suits your calendar — the credential is awarded once both are complete.
How is the credential renewed?
It does not expire. There is no renewal fee and no recertification cycle. The credential records what you completed and when, and the credential ID stays verifiable.
Can my team take it privately?
Yes — both tracks can be delivered privately on your own vendor set.

The badge

Something to show for it

Holders can display the CATRP badge on a profile, a signature or a CV. It is yours to use for as long as the credential is current.

CATRP credential badge

Using it

Pair it with your credential ID so anyone can check it. A badge on its own proves nothing; a badge next to an ID that verifies at thirdpartythreathunting.com/verify → does.

Please do not alter the colors, redraw it, or use it to imply a credential that has not been issued.
